Artist Kim Manfredi puts strong emphasis on bulges, bumps, contaminates and the concept of crossing boundaries in her contemporary abstract pieces of art. images of maped galaxies, star clusters and the relationship between the intentionally ambiguous microcosms and macrocosms of the world. Manfredi earned both her BFA and her MFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art. she graduated from Hoffberger School of Painting and was awarded both the Hoffberger and Polovoy Merit Scholarships. i’ve featured a few of Manfredi’s most recent works to preview – gorgeous! looking forward to discovering new work from this talented artist.
